Melle X. Fabian

Melle X. Fabian is an Associate in the Austin, Texas, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Melle is passionate about helping clients navigate U.S. immigration laws, finding creative solutions that allow families and professionals to stay in America, and assisting employers with hiring and retaining foreign workers. Being a Chinese-Canadian immigrant, Melle understands firsthand some of the issues and challenges that her clients face.

She is well versed in E-1, E-2, L-1, P-1, TN, and H-1B non-immigrant categories. She also prepares employment and family-based immigrant petitions. She routinely represents individuals, start-up businesses, mature companies, not-for-profit organizations, and large multinational corporations across a wide array of industries including software and IT, energy, sports, financial, insurance, retail, transportation, manufacturing, and healthcare.

Melle obtained a Juris Doctor degree from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2013 and a bachelor's degree in international Relations from the University of Toronto in 2010. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Melle has gained experience at an immigration boutique firm and a large regional firm in Buffalo, NY. Melle is an active member of AILA and is currently admitted to practice in New York State.
