Michael A. Goode

Michael A. Goode focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense and general risk management counsel. He represents large counties, municipalities, and other governmental entities as well as clients in the retail, manufacturing, transportation, and construction industries. He has successfully represented a wide variety of clients, from large, self-insured retention employers to employers insured through carriers, throughout all of North Carolina. Michael is involved in every stage of the claims process, from inception through resolution, including all aspects of negotiation, litigation, contract management, mediation, hearings, and depositions. Michael has handled cases at all levels before the North Carolina Industrial Commission and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. A Certified Information Privacy Professional, Michael is also a member of the firm’s Cybersecurity and Data Privacy team and a contributor to Goldberg Segalla’s Data Privacy and Security blog .
