Michael A. Hood

Michael A. Hood is a Principal and the Office Litigation Manager for the Orange County, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has over 36 years of experience in the employment law field.

Mr. Hood has counseled and represented management in a broad variety of matters, including wage and hour class actions, wrongful termination cases, employment discrimination charges and cases, union related matters, employee benefit matters and litigation, trade secrets matters, and sexual harassment allegations and cases. Mr. Hood has tried numerous jury and bench trials in federal and state court. He has handled 30 class actions, including being one of the few attorneys in the state to try two class actions: Settle v. Automobile Club of Southern California and Felix v. Automobile Club of Southern California.
