Michael P. Zech

Mr. Zech is a partner with Koeller, Nebeker, Carlson & Haluck, LLP and is licensed to practice law in both the State of California and the State of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California.

Since joining the firm in 2007, Mr. Zech's practice has focused primarily in the representation of developers and general contractors in construction defect litigation Mr. Zech also routinely handles litigation matters in the fields of personal injury, product liability, worker's compensation, toxic tort, and general insurance defense.

Mr. Zech is originally from Detroit, Michigan, but grew up in the San Diego area. In 2001, Mr. Zech obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of California, Berkeley. While attending UC Berkeley, Mr. Zech was a member of the Cal Sailing Team, Cal Pre-Law Association, and Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Thereafter he returned to San Diego and attended the University of San Diego School of Law where, before receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2004, he was actively involved in numerous student organizations and a member of the USD Appellate Moot Court Board.

Besides his work, Mr. Zech enjoys spending time with his family, competitive sailing, travel, golf, and surfing.
