Misty A. Edmundson

Misty Edmundson graduated in 1995 from the University of Puget Sound with a B.A. in Politics and Government. She attended the Seattle University School of Law, where she graduated with a J.D. in 1999. She served as an extern for a federal district judge in the Northern District of California prior to starting practice. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in both Washington and Oregon. Ms. Edmundson’s practice primarily focuses on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation and product liability and environmental defense work. Her extensive insurance coverage experience includes first and third party coverage, personal and commercial lines, as well as reinsurance issues. Ms. Edmundson’s practice also includes appellate work in both Washington and Oregon primarily involving insurance coverage

Ms. Edmundson is an author and lecturer on insurance coverage and bad faith and has particular expertise in the use of covenant judgment settlements in Washington. Through independent and peer review processes, Ms. Edmundson was honored for her legal abilities by being recognized as a “Washington Rising Star” in Washington Law & Politics magazine for two years in a row.

In her personal life, Ms. Edmundson enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, practicing western martial arts, and creating art.
