Mowitt S. Drew III

Mowitt S. Drew, III is a Shareholder practicing in Kotz Sangster Wysocki P.C.'s Southwest Michigan office located in Niles. A graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law and the University of Michigan, he is a seasoned trial lawyer with nearly 15 years of experience representing corporations, municipalities and individuals in complex litigation and related matters.

As Managing Director and Practice Group Leader of the firm’s Southwest Michigan office, Mr. Drew recognizes the importance of creatively employing all methods and strategies to meet his clients’ goals and expectations. His extensive courtroom experience includes Domestic Relations Law, Contested Probate Matters, Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense, Real Property, and General Civil Matters. In addition to litigation, his practice also includes Estate and Long-Term Care Planning, Municipal Law, Public Housing Law, and Real Estate. Mr. Drew prides himself in being present in all phases of representation and is accessible to clients at all times.

Mr. Drew has practiced law in Southwest Michigan for his entire career. In doing so, he has established close relationships with business and community leaders in the surrounding area. Among his community affiliations and interests are the Niles-Buchanan YMCA, where he currently serves as Vice President, and the City of Niles Parks and Recreation Board, where he previously served as President.

Mr. Drew is a member of the Berrien County Bar Association and was recently elected President Pro-Tem. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Association for Justice (formerly Michigan Trial Lawyers Association).

Additionally, Mr. Drew has assisted numerous nonprofit organizations who support and are active in the local community. He has represented Fernwood Botanical Gardens, Masonic Lodge, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass Counties, the Niles-Buchanan YMCA, and the Ferry Street Resource Center.

Goal orientated and strategic in his thinking, Mr. Drew thoroughly analyzes information from a multitude of sources before developing a course of action.
