ABOUT Mr. Christian Ferlan

Christian Ferlan is an Associate in our office in Charlotte, North Carolina, and he focuses his practice on medical malpractice, general liability and workers’ compensation matters.

Early in his career, he exclusively represented national, regional, and local employers in a wide range of workers’ compensation matters involving both workplace injuries and occupational diseases. His work spanned everything from initial compensability decisions to full evidentiary hearings, depositions, and Opinions and Awards from the Industrial Commission.

Christian earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the Intellectual Property Moot Court team and argued before federal Trademark Trial and Appeal Board judges in a national competition. He was also a staff writer and Notes Editor for the NC Journal of Law and Technology.

He also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with a minor in Spanish at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. While in college, he was an executive board member of Alpha Tau Omega, and he played varsity baseball for four years as a pitcher. He volunteered with the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley and the Versus Cancer Foundation.

Experience

Christian defends national, regional and local employers in a variety of workers’ compensation disputes, and has worked with companies of all sizes to effectively and efficiently resolve lawsuits. He also represents clients in medical malpractice claims, and general liability matters.
