Mr. Faran Arshad Abbasi

Prior to joining Steinger, Iscoe & Greene, Faran A. Abbasi practiced with a local plaintiff’s firm representing individuals and homeowners against insurance carriers, corporations, and negligent individuals. Faran was also previously a member of a nationwide insurance defense firm that defended personal injury and commercial general liability cases in the field of premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, negligent security, products liability, construction defects, and property damage. Faran’s background in defending cases on behalf of corporations and insurance carriers allows a unique insight in to how claims are evaluated, which he now utilizes for the benefit of the injured people and families that he represents.

Faran is admitted to practice in all of Florida’s State Courts and is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Faran earned a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of South Florida where he also served as Student Body Vice-President for two terms. Faran earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law in 2013. Faran is a member of the Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association, and the Florida Justice Association.

Faran was born in Pakistan, moved to South Florida after his first birthday, and was raised in all three southern counties from Miami-Dade to Palm Beach. In his free time, Faran enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, Crystal, and close friends. Faran is also a die hard Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins fan. Faran is also bilingual in Urdu and Hindi.
