Mr. Ian D. Baldwin

Ian Baldwin is a senior associate in WSHB’s Portland office, handling a variety of complex civil litigation matters involving construction, catastrophic injury, employment, product liability, and commercial and business disputes. Prior to joining WSHB, Ian practiced at a civil litigation firm in Portland, where he worked on all phases of litigation in a variety of civil litigation matters. Previously, Ian clerked for the Honorable Kathleen M. Dailey of the Multnomah County Circuit Court.

Ian received his law degree from George Mason University School of Law, and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon. While attending George Mason, Ian was an active member of the Moot Court Board, placing 1st among his class in George Mason’s first-year moot court competition. Ian also was a member of George Mason’s Journal of Law & Economic Policy, and had his journal article on juvenile criminal defense policy selected for publication in 2015.

Prior to pursuing his law career, Ian completed a year of public service with AmeriCorps, where he worked as a tutor and career counselor for underprivileged youth at a Seattle-area high school. In his free time, Ian enjoys coaching youth sports and golfing.
