ABOUT Mr. Jacob P. Arechiga
focuses his practice on complex commercial matters . Mr. Arechiga has extensive experience in the electric power and renewable energy industries, and has represented companies of all types contributing electric power to the grid, from generation to transmission to retail sale. He helps address the commercial, regulatory and environmental needs of solar panel manufacturers, utility-scale wind and solar developers and investors, electric generators, electric utilities and providers, and industry associations. He has also represented healthcare providers in various levels of disputes and compliance-related matters.
He works with these and other industries (such as manufacturing and technology) to address contested legal matters and mitigate risks associated with capital and real estate investments (including the development of “greenfield” and “brownfield” sites), transactions, and daily operations,. Mr. Arechiga also represents clients in administrative hearings before state agencies and appeals before federal courts. In addition, he works with clients to ensure compliance with a broad range of rapidly changing federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
Mr. Arechiga is a 2009 graduate, with honors, of the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Texas Environmental Law Journal, and a graduate of Princeton University.
