Mr. Jorge Luis Montero

Jorge Luis Montero is an Associate in the firm’s Fort Myers office. Mr. Montero is a Cuban born immigrant who obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University in English Literature. Montero earned his Juris-Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law. He began his legal career as chief paralegal for an insurance company’s in-house firm and later transitioned to counsel for Plaintiff’s PIP practices in South Florida. In 2005, he opened his own law practice serving an array of Southern and Central Florida clients dealing with personal injury, commercial litigation, probate, estate planning, adult guardianships and consumer defense matters. In congruence with his private practice Montero has taken on full time employment in PIP insurance defense / (special investigations unit) litigation and the representation of children in both criminal and dependency courts as Guardian Ad Litem counsel. He is a member of the Florida Bar and licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Mr. Montero is fluent in Spanish.
