Mr. Samuel Wesley

An associate in WSHB’s Atlanta office, Sam’s practice consists of advising domestic and international insurers on coverage matters. He regularly defends both first-party and third-party claims, including handling bad faith actions and pursuing declaratory judgment actions. He also defends insureds in various areas of litigation, including municipal liability, employment/labor disputes, products liability, and malpractice liability.

Sam graduated cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law. While at Georgia State, he advocated on just the second GSU Moot Court team in the past 30+ years to reach nationals in the AIPLA Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition. Likewise, he again led another moot court team to the national stage in the Thomas Tang National Moot Court Competition. He also received a CALI Award (top grade) in his Corporations class. In addition, he interned for the Honorable Judge Wendy Shoob at the Fulton Superior Court. Sam completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont, where he rowed crew for four full seasons.

A native of Georgia, Sam enjoys rooting for both the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons.
