Mr. Stephen P. Smith

Stephen P. Smith is an associate of the firm. Mr. Smith focuses his practice on insurance defense, professional liability defense, premises liability, toxic/environmental torts and general liability matters. Prior to joining the firm, he practiced with another statewide defense firm and has extensive experience in healthcare and general liability matters, including representing physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in professional liability, licensure and disciplinary and credentialing matters. Prior to beginning his legal career, he served as a law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Gary R. Jones of the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Florida. He is fluent in Spanish.
