Ms. Leeann P. Simpkins

Leeann P. Simpkins is an Associate in the Indianapolis, Indiana, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Ms. Simpkins represents employers before federal and state courts and administrative agencies in litigation matters involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, wage and hour violations, as well as enforcement of non-competition agreements and protection of trade secrets.

Ms. Simpkins’ practice is devoted to counseling management in nearly all aspects of the employment relationship, including but not limited to matters involving employee handbooks and personnel policies; recruiting, hiring, evaluations, discipline, and terminations; affirmative action programs; employment, separation, and severance agreements; reasonable accommodation of disabilities and religious practices; and leaves of absence.

While attending law school, Ms. Simpkins was an Associate Editor of the Indiana Health Law Review, an Associate Justice of the Moot Court Board, and runner-up in the Honorable Robert H. Staton Intramural Moot Court Competition.
