Ms. Rachel E. Ehlers

Rachel E. Ehlers is Of Counsel in the Austin, Texas, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on advising clients on the laws, regulations and best practices governing privacy, security and the management of data, including how to respond to data breaches.

Ms. Ehlers also works with clients on corporate governance, internal investigations and training. She has extensive experience conducting internal investigations, as well as advising companies on government investigations involving harassment and discrimination, Code of Conduct violations, anti-bribery, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, trade issues, financial impropriety and fraud, and conflicts of interest. She has developed, implemented and managed compliance programs in a variety of industries, including data privacy and cybersecurity, anti-trust, anti-bribery, trade and workplace safety and health.

Ms. Ehlers has served in multiple in-house legal and compliance roles, in all sizes of companies-from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Ms. Ehlers has lived and worked in Great Britain, China and Venezuela, and she has provided guidance and training to international companies globally.
