Mya Gibson

MYA GIBSON (Senior Associate) received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Willamette University, Salem, Oregon and her Juris Doctor from University of San Diego School of Law, subsequently earning her advanced professional law degree known as the Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation, also from the University of San Diego. Ms. Gibson was an Editor on the International Law Journal and attended the Institute on International and Comparative Law in Dublin, Ireland. Ms. Gibson joined the firm in 2006 and is a Certified Legal Specialist in Workers’ Compensation and provides quarterly presentations to various industry clients. Ms. Gibson is a member of the Association of Insurance Professionals and the Risk Insurance Management Society, along with being a Member Donor to the San Diego Blood Bank and avid supporter of the San Diego Zoo. A devoted Oakland Raiders fan, her interests include cooking, English Bulldogs and hippos. She often visits the only three hippos in California: Funani, Otis and their calf, Adama, even owning an original “paw-painting” from Otis himself.
