Nancy M. Marini

A Partner at HPM&B, Nancy Marini has been representing physicians and health care professionals in medical malpractice cases since 2005. Nancy is admitted in both Connecticut and New York, as well as Connecticut District Court. Nancy represents physician and hospital clients in all aspects of the defense of medical malpractice cases. Nancy’s responsibilities range from pre-suit negotiations through trial. Her skills include overseeing complex discovery, attending various Court conferences, deposing plaintiffs, experts, and non-party witnesses, zealously representing physician clients and nurses at depositions, management of expert discovery, jury selection, trial, post-trial and appellate practice.

Nancy has been an integral member of several trial teams from initial trial preparation through verdict. Many of her cases have resulted in defense verdicts or other successful resolutions. She has also been involved in filing appeals and preparing appellate briefs in the Connecticut Appellate Court and Connecticut Supreme Court.

Prior to attending law school, Nancy worked in a grammar school in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
