ABOUT Nathaniel Griffith
Nathaniel D. Griffith was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on October 30, 1985. He attended West Virginia University where he earned a degree in Criminology & Investigations in 2003. Nathaniel then attended law school, where in addition to his studies, he worked as a research assistant and also clerked at Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe’s Charleston office. While in law school, Nathaniel was an officer and competition member of the Lugar Trial Association. As a member of Lugar, Nathaniel competed in the ABA Labor and Employment Law Mock Trial Competition in Chicago, Illinois. Nathaniel graduated from law school in 2010 in the top 25% of his class and then accepted full-time employment with Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC in the Morgantown office.
Since graduating from law school, Nathaniel's practice has been focused on defending personal injury cases, construction defect cases, insurance "bad faith" cases, and other general civil litigation matters. He has taken an active role in trying numerous jury trials and a bench trial. Additionally, he has assisted in drafting appeals to the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court of Appeals.
Nathaniel lives outside of Morgantown with his wife Kathryn and their pug Larry. In his spare time, Nathaniel enjoys reading and regularly attending Mountaineer sporting events.
