Nicola Ai Ling Prall

Nicola A.L. Prall is a Principal in the Raleigh, North Carolina, office of Jackson Lewis P.C.

Ms. Prall practices global immigration law and employment law. She provides advice and counsel to employers on employment visas and employment verification issues, including E-Verify and I-9 compliance. Ms. Prall also provides advice and counsel on various employment law matters, including employee hiring and separation issues, preventative employment practices, and complaints regarding harassment and discrimination. Additionally, Ms. Prall has defended numerous employment discrimination cases.

Ms. Prall has presented frequently on immigration law and employment law issues. She also contributes to Jackson Lewis’ Immigration Blog and writes articles for The Carolina Employer. Ms. Prall has also written articles on retaliation and state E-Verify for NAPEO’s Legal Review.

She is a native of Brazil, and has lived in Hong Kong and England, before moving to the United States.

While at the University of Kentucky, School of Law, Ms. Prall served as Vice President of the Student Public Interest Law Foundation and Articles Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal in 2004. As an undergraduate, she studied European Union politics, minority issues, environmental policy, and citizenship issues at Copenhagen University in Denmark.
