Nicole G. Conge

Ms. Wells became a member of Dummit, Buchholz and Trapp’s San Diego team after passing the California Bar in 2010. During her legal education at California Western School of Law, she served as editor of the Journal of Biolaw and Business’s Recent Developments section and worked with the Attorney General’s Bureau of Medi-Cal Fraud and Elder Abuse. She developed her oratory skills by succeeding in various appellate argument competitions, which earned her the title of Distinguished Advocate. Ms. Wells is admitted to practice in all California State courts, the Southern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Wells spends her off-time as President for Think Dignity, a non-profit organization devoted to serving San Diego’s homeless community.

Ms. Wells proudly represents hospital entities and their non-physician staff in professional liability actions and provides counsel in a variety of risk management, risk reduction, regulatory compliance and patient privacy matters. She has successfully defended healthcare organizations throughout California against catastrophic birth, brain and spine injury cases in addition to elder abuse and wrongful death suits. She has also resolved numerous cases through effective law and motion practice and strategic settlement negotiations. This broad spectrum of experience allows her to quickly identify, understand and address medical and legal issues that commonly and uncommonly arise in malpractice litigation.
