Peter M. Golden

PETER M. GOLDEN is a graduate of the University of Washington, receiving two Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Speech Communication. He received his Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law and practiced law in Washington before being admitted to the California Bar in 2002. Pete has over 18 years of experience in California workers’ compensation law and has represented employers, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers in workers' compensation and related matters including subrogation, Labor Code 132a and claims of serious & willful misconduct. In addition to being a Certified Specialist in Workers' Compensation for the State Bar of California, Pete has experience in civil litigation, including being the lead attorney in trials to verdict before the Superior Court in Shasta and Butte Counties and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the Eastern District of California. Pete returned to the firm in 2019 in our San Diego office, having previously worked in our Chico office. Pete enjoys writing and presenting educational training seminars and serving as a resource for our clients. Pete enjoys the active lifestyle of San Diego. His recreational pursuits have included alpine climbing, rock climbing, camping, sailing, and recently surfing. His competitive sports pursuits include soccer, tennis, swimming, and springboard diving.
