Randal M. Whitlatch, Jr.

practices in the area of litigation with a focus on mass tort, toxic tort and products liability litigation. Mr. Whitlatch has litigated cases asserting a wide range of claims, including medical monitoring relief in mass toxic tort matters for neurologic disease, liver disease, genotoxicity, reproductive toxicity and various cancers. He has represented chemical and life science companies, coal companies, insurance companies and healthcare organizations.

Mr. Whitlatch has extensive experience with complex litigation matters involving claims of shareholder squeeze-out, corporate dissolution, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, class action and trademark infringement. He has counseled clients through electronic discovery during litigation, providing advice outside of active litigation in regards to state and federal requirements regarding records, information management, email, legal hold and general document retention policies and procedures.

Mr. Whitlatch is a 2006 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was senior topics editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, and a 2003 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
