Richard Placido

Richard Placido is an associate in WSHB’s Fresno office, where he handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including general liability, trucking and transportation, construction and commercial litigation. Richard uses his past experience as a manager in the health care field to assist clients in evaluating and defending personal injury claims with significant medical and treatment issues. Prior to working at the firm, Richard’s practice focused on immigration law, representing individuals before the United States Executive Office for Immigration Review, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and Department of State.

Richard is graduate of San Joaquin College of Law, where he received Witkin awards in both legal analysis and professional responsibility, was a Moot Court finalist, and recipient of several scholarships. Richard received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Stanislaus.

Richard is a devoted husband and father of four, who spends his time away from the office with his family. Richard is fluent in Spanish and speaks basic Portuguese.
