Samantha Shine McPherson

Samantha S. McPherson is an Associate in the San Diego, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour and representative actions.

Ms. McPherson’s practice also includes counseling and advising employers on personnel issues such as hiring, discipline, termination, and leaves of absence. Ms. McPherson provides training seminars on a wide variety of topics including harassment prevention, discrimination, and providing workplace accommodations.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. McPherson worked at a firm in San Diego focusing on employment defense litigation where she gained valuable trial and dispositive motion experience. Ms. McPherson began her legal career in the San Diego District Attorney’s Office where she second-chaired two felony trials and one misdemeanor trial.

While in law school, Ms. McPherson was a judicial extern for the Honorable John A. Houston, United States District Court, Southern District of California. She was also the recipient of several scholarships including Lourine W. Twyman scholarship, Dean’s Diversity Scholarship, and California Bar Foundation Diversity Scholarship.
