Samuel G. John

Sam John is a senior associate in WSHB’s New Jersey office. He represents defendants in cases involving substantial factual and legal complexity. Sam has argued before the New Jersey Appellate Division, winning reversal of a trial court decision denying a motion to compel arbitration. Sam’s practice includes appellate work, class actions, construction defect claims, professional malpractice, commercial litigation, and general liability matters. Sam also assists our national insurance coverage practice by advising and representing domestic and international insurers on first-party property (Homeowner’s and Commercial), commercial general liability, construction defect, and professional errors and omission claims.

Prior to joining the firm, Sam served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Stephanie A. Mitterhoff, Superior Court Judge, in the Civil Division of Essex County, New Jersey. Sam received his law degree from the George Washington University Law School, graduating in the top 10% of his class.
