ABOUT Scott M. Pechaitis
Scott M. Pechaitis is a Principal in the Denver, Colorado, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He represents management exclusively in all areas of employment law.
His practice is focused on litigation statistics and EEO systemic discrimination cases. He assists in the defense of class-based discrimination and wage and hour class/collective actions. He also counsels employers on workplace law matters, including hiring and pre-employment testing, layoffs, and reductions-in-force. In addition, Mr. Pechaitis prepares affirmative action plans and represents government contractors in OFCCP audits and related matters. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Mr. Pechaitis practiced as a Litigation Associate representing management in various matters involving wage and hour issues, employment discrimination, harassment, worker misclassification, disputes under collective bargaining agreements, and other employment related issues.
While at St. Lawrence University, Mr. Pechaitis was admitted to the Irving Bachelor Society for excellence in academic achievement. While attending law school he was a law clerk for the New York State Attorney General’s Office.
