Shylie Armon Bannon

Shylie A. Bannon, is a partner with the firm and oversees the Jacksonville Office. Ms. Bannon's practice focuses on the defense of health care professionals and retailers in professional liability and premises liability claims. Ms. Bannon also focuses her practice on representing employers in employment litigation and administrative actions. She is also consulted for general counsel on employment related matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bannon was a partner with a large state-wide firm, where she successfully defended health care providers and national corporations in a variety of claims. She has been named to the Rising Stars list published by the Florida Super Lawyers Magazine in 2016 and in 2017; an honor bestowed on just 2.5% of the attorneys in the State.

Ms. Bannon graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University in 2006. Ms. Bannon proceeded to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, cum laude, in 2009, receiving honors for her accomplishments in legal research and writing and trial advocacy skills, and earning the distinct honor of serving as a judicial extern with the Florida Supreme Court.

Admitted to practice in the state of Florida in 2009 and all Federal Courts in the State, Ms. Bannon is an active member of the Florida Bar, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and the Jacksonville Women Lawyer's Association.
