Steven H. Garfinkel

Steven H. Garfinkel is a nationally recognized immigration law specialist practicing business immigration since 1984. He is one of a limited number of attorneys certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the North Carolina State Bar and is a Past Chair of the Immigration Specialization Committee. He worked in one of North Carolina’s largest law firms from 1989 to 1997 and served as partner in charge of the immigration and visa practice of that firm’s Charlotte office from 1992 until August 1, 1997. On September 1, 1997 he established the Garfinkel Immigration Law Firm. The Firm has grown to become one of the largest law firms in the Southeastern U.S. dedicated exclusively to the practice of U.S. immigration law.

Mr. Garfinkel has been rated by his peers with an AV® Peer Review Rating and is listed in the International Who’s Who of Corporate Immigration Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers.
