Sugouri Saprina Batra

Sugouri was born in Queens, NY to Indian parents. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with minors in Biology and Theatre Arts from the University of Miami. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from University of Miami, focusing her studies in Intellectual Property. During law school, Sugouri interned at The Social Media Law Firm, where she assisted with startup regulatory compliance and the evaluation and protection of intellectual property rights. Thereafter, Sugouri was chosen to participate in the University of Miami School of Law Startup Practicum, where she helped startups in Miami protect their intellectual property through patent and trademark. Prior to joining Resnick & Louis, Sugouri practiced Maritime negligence and medical malpractice litigation and international arbitration against global defendants.Sugouri is passionate about science and technology and enjoys creative consulting on digital media projects and modeling. In her spare time, she loves to cook spicy food and watch Bollywood films.Sugouri is a member of the Florida bar and the United States District Court Southern District of Florida.
