Tatsuya Imamura

Tatsuya Imamura is an associate of Greenberg Traurig’s Corporate group in Tokyo. Mr. Imamura advises commercial clients on mergers & acquisitions and intellectual property, such as patent law, trademark law, and copyright law. He has experience with start-up businesses and venture finance. His experience also includes corporate matters and dispute resolutions.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Imamura worked at another leading international law firm and a Japanese listed company.

• Represented a U.S.-based multinational personal and home appliances manufacturer, in its buy-out of a joint venture and their global restructuring.°

• Represented a Hong Kong-based private equity fund, in its acquisition of international hotel management company’s Japanese branch and its real property.°

• Investment project in a California-based private equity fund.°

• Spin-off project of selling a core business via corporate divestiture.°

• Financing project by issuing share acquisition option and stock lending.°

• Dispute resolution regarding widely recognized copyright infringement matter on curation media.°
