Thomas J. Sinclair

Tommy is an associate in the firm's Casualty Department focusing his practice heavily on fraud and special investigation where he routinely assesses and evaluates both medical provider fraud and fraudulent claims on the part of clients' insureds. He also has experience dealing with insurance coverage disputes, representing numerous insurance carriers for the purposes of SIU investigation, bad faith litigation and general defense litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Tommy served as a law clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Silvanio in Cumberland County Superior Court. His responsibilities included researching criminal law precedence, drafting bench memoranda for pre-trial motions, and mediating civil lawsuits.

Tommy earned his juris doctor from The Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. While at law school, he was a member of The Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal where he was a Managing Editor of Symposia and Special Works. Tommy participated in Villanova's Civil Justice Clinic where he represented low income clients in civil matters in Philadelphia landlord-tenant court and family court. He was also a legal intern in Villanova's CARES clinic where he provided services to clients applying for asylum in the United States.

Additionally, Tommy was a certified legal intern in the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office. Here he conducted probation and parole violation hearings, summary appeals, guilty pleas, and preliminary hearings. Tommy was a legal extern for Honorable George A. Pagano in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas and was a law clerk for attorney Robert Joseph O'Shea, Jr., assisting with N.J. state court litigation involving consumer fraud.

Tommy is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
