ABOUT Wayne O. Klomp

Wayne Klomp concentrates his practice in commercial litigation with a current emphasis in financial services litigation protecting security interests of financial institutions. In the past five years, he has represented financial institutions in a broad variety of complex lending issues including consumer and commercial lending disputes, wrongful and contested foreclosures, lien disputes, appraisal litigation, and litigation involving various federal lending laws including the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Unfair Debt Collection Practices Act (UDCPA). Wayne also litigates matters involving state laws including, for example, disputes under the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), eviction, foreclosure, and the Fraudulent Transfers Act.

Wayne also has experience in numerous other areas of litigation including, for example, medical malpractice defense, landlord/tenant conflicts, contract and quasi-contract disputes, environmental enforcement including RCRA and CERCLA actions and real property contests including ownership disputes, easements and construction defect litigation. He has been involved in litigation in federal and state courts at all levels including trial courts, appellate courts, and bankruptcy courts.
