William E. Daks

William Daks is senior counsel in WSHB’s New York office where he practices in a variety of civil litigation matters, including construction/labor law, automotive litigation, property damage, catastrophic injury and asbestos defense. William has experience handling complex litigation for individuals, small businesses, transportation companies, bus and transit service providers, common carriers, and public entities. He represents a number of small to large companies throughout New York in all facets of litigation. William previously interned for the Honorable Martin Solomon in Kings County Supreme Court and the New York City Police Department’s Legal Bureau, Civil Enforcement Unit. During law school, William served as the Vice Chair of the Moot Court Association where he coached and competed in numerous competitions across the United States. He presently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Baruch College (CUNY), where he teaches the Fundamentals of Business Law, which is an entry level law course for all students attending the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. In his free time, William is a half-marathon participant and an avid baseball fan.
