ABOUT William Robinson Stukenberg
William Stukenberg is the Office Managing Principal in the Houston, Texas, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Mr. Stukenberg is an experienced labor and employment practitioner who brings a client relationship driven approach to practicing law.
Mr. Stukenberg focuses on identifying client objectives and then developing innovative strategies for achieving efficient and effective results. To do so, Mr. Stukenberg partners with clients to gain an in-depth understanding of their businesses which allows him to appreciate the challenges facing his clients from their perspectives.
While Mr. Stukenberg is an experienced trial attorney, clients also view him as a trusted advisor and his client-oriented approach allows him to identify and diffuse potential lawsuits before they are filed. Mr. Stukenberg's ability to develop an identity of interests with his clients allows him to function as a member of his client’s legal department and his track record of success has led companies of all sizes to call on him for everything from day-to-day employment counseling to complex employment litigation.
Mr. Stukenberg has litigated virtually every type of workplace dispute in numerous forums, with a particular emphasis on wage and hour matters. He regularly serves as lead counsel in complex class and collective actions alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage laws. Mr. Stukenberg has served as national coordinating counsel on claims involving misclassification, off-the-clock, and regular rate allegations. He has successfully represented clients in wage and hour matters in a variety of industries, including energy, healthcare, telecommunications, technology, retail, transportation, finance, and hospitality. Mr. Stukenberg has also represented other law firms in wage disputes, reflecting the expertise he brings to defending complex wage claims. He also serves as the co-chair of the Firm’s Department of Labor Investigations Group, where he assists employers in defending wage and hour enforcement actions. Mr. Stukenberg also has extensive experience litigating restrictive covenant and unfair competition matters. Mr. Stukenberg employs his client relationship driven approach to solve clients’ workplace problems, large and small.
While attending South Texas College of Law, Mr. Stukenberg was a member of the South Texas Law Review.
